Job summary

The Ed Napleton Automotive Group is seeking an Automotive Service Technician at Volkswagen of Orlando to repair and service vehicles according to dealer and factory standards, building customer trust.

You will diagnose malfunctions, communicate with parts and service advisors, and stay current with factory bulletins and training. We offer top wages, paid training, medical benefits, and opportunities for advancement.

Qualifications

• Automotive Service Technician experience.
• ASE certification desirable.
• Excellent customer service.
• Strong communication skills.
• Valid Driver’s License.
• 18+ years of age or older to comply with the company driving policy.

Responsibilities

• Performing vehicle repair and/or maintenance work as outlined on repair order with efficiency and accuracy, in accordance with dealership and factory standards to drive Customer loyalty.
• Communicating with Parts Department and Service Advisors regularly to effectively manage production and Customer communication.
• Diagnosing the cause of any malfunction and perform repair.
• Adequately explains technical diagnoses and needed repairs to non-mechanical individuals which may include employees and customers.
• Keeping abreast of factory technical bulletins and participating in factory-sponsored training classes as appropriate.
• Keeps store management aware of mechanical repair problems as they occur.
• Maintains an organized work area.

Located at Volkswagen of Orlando, theAutomotive Service Technicianwill be responsible for vehicle repair and maintenance as assigned in accordance with dealer and factory standards. This position will build Customer loyalty by developing trust and ensuring confidence in Napleton through effectively diagnosing vehicles.
