Job summary

Napleton Automotive Group is seeking an Automotive Master Technician for Napleton KIA of Carmel. The Master Technician will diagnose and repair vehicles to dealer and factory standards while building customer trust through quality service.

The opportunity offers a potential pay range of $75,000-$130,000 with incentive-based pay, top flat rate hours, and extensive benefits including medical, dental, vision, and 401k. Equal opportunity employer with strong growth across seven states.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years’ experience as a Journeyman/Master Technician.
• Willingness to undergo a background check.
• 18+ years of age or older.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair brake, hydraulic, exhaust, ignition, electrical, suspension, A/C, and computer systems.
• Explain technical issues and needed repairs to customers and staff.
• Update skills through ongoing training and stay current with automotive tech.

Job Responsibilities:

• Diagnose and repair to specifications - brake and hydraulic, exhaust, primary and/or advanced fuel ignition and electrical, suspension and alignment, air conditioning and computer systems.
• Adequate explain technical diagnosis and needed repairs to non-mechanical individuals which may include employees and customers as required.
• Continuously update technical skills and techniques in formal training sessions to stay abreast with rapidly changing automotive technology.
• Keep store management aware of mechanical repair problems as they occur.
• Maintains an organized and neat service bay

Job Requirements:

• Minimum of 3 years’ experience as a Journeyman/ Master Technician required.
• Ideal candidate will be a self-starter who is process-driven
• Willingness to undergo a background check in accordance with local law/regulations
• 18+ years of age or older to comply with the company driving policy
