Job summary

The Ed Napleton Automotive Group is seeking an Automotive Master Technician at Napleton KIA of Carmel to diagnose and repair vehicles. You will work to build customer trust by delivering reliable repairs and maintaining high shop efficiency.

Qualified candidates have at least 3 years as a Journeyman/Master Technician, are self-driven, and able to pass background checks. Excellent earning potential with incentive-based pay and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years’ experience as a Journeyman/Master Technician
• Willingness to undergo a background check as per local laws
• 18+ years of age to comply with driving policy
• Self-starter with a process-driven mindset

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair to specifications—brake and hydraulic, exhaust, primary and/or advanced fuel ignition and electrical, suspension and alignment, air conditioning and computer systems.
• Explain technical diagnosis and needed repairs to non-mechanical individuals, which may include employees and customers.
• Continuously update technical skills and techniques in formal training sessions to stay abreast with rapidly changing automotive technology.
• Keep store management aware of mechanical repair problems as they occur.
• Maintain an organized and neat service bay
