Job summary

Nesco Resource, LLC is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to develop and implement automotive assembly processes across the product lifecycle. You will collaborate with robotics and automation teams to optimize line layouts, takt times, and PFEP documentation, driving efficient new product launches.

The role requires strong knowledge of assembly systems, PFMEA, and capital investments, with cross-functional teamwork and occasional travel to support launches and engineering changes.

Qualifications

• Strong assembly experience across automotive systems (body, trim, chassis, powertrain).
• Experience delivering robotic and automation projects in a manufacturing setting.
• Understand JIT, SPD, ILVS and batch manufacturing principles.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate and implement assigned manufacturing projects.
• Develop budgets for capital investment and track timing plans.
• Interface with vendors for machining, automation and capital equipment.
• Develop production processes, work cells, and PFEP layouts.
• Create SOPs, process flow, cycle time analyses and work instructions.
• Provide training for new equipment and process changes.
