Job summary

Bridgewater Interiors II is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to design, develop, and validate manufacturing processes, tooling, and controls for automotive parts. You will analyze labor and equipment needs to maximize efficiency and support prototypes, builds, and launches.

The role requires 3–5 years in Manufacturing Engineering, preferably in automotive, with hands-on PFMEA, control plans, GD&T, and process flow expertise.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical/Industrial Engineering or related field.
  • 3–5 years in Manufacturing Engineering; automotive experience required.
  • Proficiency with PFMEA, Control Plans, Process Flows, and Operator Instruction Sheets.
  • Hands-on experience implementing manufacturing processes, tooling, equipment, and controls.

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, implement, and validate manufacturing processes, methods, tooling, equipment, and controls.
  • Analyze labor utilization, equipment requirements, workflow, space, and layout for efficiency.
  • Support prototypes, builds, and production launches.
  • Apply new manufacturing technologies to improve cost, quality, and productivity.
  • Participate in design reviews to ensure manufacturability and cost effectiveness.
