Midas - Touch of Gold in Merrillville, IN is seeking Automotive Managers in Training/Service Writers to develop into Store Managers. You will assist with basic service and sales while learning phone handling, appointment setting, and customer interaction.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional customer service while listening to and consulting customers
• Following up with customers, services requested, estimated completion times etc.
• Oversee complete vehicle inspections and then make comprehensive recommendations—building computerized repair orders and sourcing parts
• Deliver and discuss pricing estimates with customers as well as promoting shop service specials
• Oversee technicians’ inspections, diagnosing and repairing of domestic, European and Asian cars and light trucks
• Maintain inventory counts
• Overall cleanliness and organization of the facility
• Perform oil changes, tire rotations, and very basic technician jobs
• Other duties as assigned

Hourly Pay plus Bonuses; $45-$65K+ Annually! At Midas we are dedicated to providing quality services to customer vehicles in the areas of inspection, diagnosis and repair utilizing the expertise attained through ASE Certifications and/or years of automotive repair experience.

We are looking for Automotive Managers in Training/ Service Writers. Performance Based Pay

• Base pay plus Overtime
• PLUS Weekly bonus commissions based on store performance (on top of guaranteed bi-weekly commission)
