Midas - Touch of Gold is seeking Automotive Managers in Training/ Service Writers as a store-manager development track. You will assist in service sales, customer interactions, and basic vehicle services while training to lead a team.

Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional customer service while listening to customers
• Follow up with customers on services, estimates, and completion times
• Oversee vehicle inspections and recommend repairs; prepare repair orders and source parts
• Present pricing estimates and promote shop service specials
• Oversee technicians for inspections, diagnosing and repairing cars and light trucks
• Maintain inventory levels and keep the facility clean and organized
• Perform basic oil changes, tire rotations, and simple technician tasks
• Other duties as assigned

Hourly Pay plus Bonuses; $45-$65K+ Annually! At Midas we are dedicated to providing quality services to customer vehicles in the areas of inspection, diagnosis and repair utilizing the expertise attained through ASE Certifications and/or years of automotive repair experience.

We are looking for Automotive Managers in Training/ Service Writers. This position is a Store Manager developmental role, but will help with basic service and sales while also training to handle phone calls, set appointments, and interact with customers. Midas is committed to training our associates and promoting from within the organization.

Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional customer service while listening to and consulting customers
• Following up with customers, services requested, estimated completion times etc.
• Oversee complete vehicle inspections and then make comprehensive recommendations—building computerized repair orders and sourcing parts
• Deliver and discuss pricing estimates with customers as well as promoting shop service specials
• Oversee technicians’ inspections, diagnosing and repairing of domestic, European and Asian cars and light trucks
• Maintain inventory counts
• Overall cleanliness and organization of the facility
• Perform oil changes, tire rotations, and very basic technician jobs
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• A minimum of 2 years of store or service manager experience is preferred but not required
• General automotive knowledge

• Ability to work a flexible retail schedule including weekends, evenings and holidays

Performance Based Pay

• Base pay plus Overtime
• PLUS Weekly bonus commissions based on store performance (on top of guaranteed bi-weekly commission)
