Job summary

Leoforce seeks an experienced Maintenance Technician for an automotive manufacturing client in Auburn, AL. You will perform routine maintenance, diagnose control systems, and ensure adherence to IATF16949 standards to minimize downtime and maximize production quality.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in maintenance within automotive/engineering, proficiency with Allen-Bradley, Siemens, pneumatics, hydraulics, and electrical systems, and the ability to work flexible hours including weekends.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in a maintenance technician role within engineering or automotive industries.
• Proficiency with Allen-Bradley, Siemens, Pneumatic, Hydraulic and Electrical systems.
• Extensive knowledge of the IATF16949 quality management system.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and in a team; good communication.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance and inspections on machinery to ensure optimal performance and safety.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot issues with control systems (Allen-Bradley, Siemens, pneumatic, hydraulic, electrical).
• Implement corrective actions promptly to minimize downtime and maintain production targets.
• Adhere to IATF16949 standards and company procedures.
• Collaborate with engineering to develop preventative maintenance programs.
• Provide technical guidance to team members as needed.
• Update maintenance procedures to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
• Maintain accurate records of activities and repairs.
• Stay current with industry advances and adopt new technologies.
