Job summary

Jobot is seeking a Maintenance Technician in Auburn, AL to join our engineering team on a permanent, on-site basis. You will maintain automated equipment, ensure uptime, and support continuous improvement in a fast-paced automotive manufacturing environment.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in maintenance within the automotive sector, with hands-on experience in Allen-Bradley, Siemens, pneumatic, hydraulic and electrical systems, and knowledge of IATF16949.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a maintenance technician in engineering or automotive industry.
• Proficient with Allen-Bradley, Siemens, Pneumatic, Hydraulic and Electrical systems.
• Extensive knowledge of IATF16949 quality management system.
• Strong problem-solving and attention to detail.
• Good technical and mechanical skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Able to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance and inspections on machinery and equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot issues with control systems and mechanical components.
• Implement corrective actions and repairs to minimize downtime and meet production targets.
• Adhere to IATF16949 standards in all activities.
• Collaborate with engineering to develop and implement preventive maintenance programs.
• Provide technical guidance to team members as needed.
• Update maintenance procedures to improve efficiency.
• Maintain records of maintenance activities and repairs.
• Stay updated on industry advancements and adopt new technologies as appropriate.
