Job summary

Hyundai Mobis is seeking an LP Material Purchasing Specialist to ensure continuous supply of parts for the production line. The role involves monitoring inventories, issuing POs, and coordinating with suppliers to optimize material flow.

You will maintain purchasing data in SAP and support trial builds to meet program needs. Candidates should have a high school diploma and preferably a Bachelor's degree in a related field, with experience in Just-In-Sequence purchasing and MS Office and SAP

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Eng, Mechanical Eng, Logistics or Supply Chain Mgmt preferred.
• Automotive industry experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Requisition and maintain inventories of materials and supplies to meet production demands.
• Provide requirements and inventory assessments to Suppliers to ensure efficient operations.
• Prepare and present reports on shortages and communicate weekly/monthly plan vs. results; expedite deliveries.
• Monitor production schedules due to design changes or shortages; coordinate with management, suppliers and CKD Control HQ KR.
