Qualifications

  • Associates degree or equivalent in Chemical, Mechanical or Industrial field or related plus 24 months of experience as a Laboratory technician in an Automotive Industry.

Responsibilities

  • Perform testing capabilities of the fluid management assemblies in the Automotive industry.
  • Conduct mechanical, chemical, and functional testing on hoses, tubes, connectors, and full fluid-handling assemblies.
  • Oversee calibration, preventative maintenance, and safety compliance for lab equipment.
  • Drive continuous improvement for all laboratory processes.
  • Acquire data after testing and prepare reports with LabVIEW and Daisy Lab software.
  • Proper use of lab equipment for testing and calibration using master gauges.
  • Conduct failure and root cause analysis.
