Job summary

Roush is seeking an Automotive Laboratory Technician I to support engineering testing, data collection, and experimental setups for vehicle and subsystem development. You will work closely with Engineers to ensure data quality and operational efficiency across testing activities.

The role requires hands-on capability with mechanical, electrical, and instrumentation systems, plus strong computer skills and the ability to learn new software. Full-time benefits include multiple coverages and 401K.

Qualifications

  • Must have basic mechanical, instrumentation, electrical or fabrication experience.
  • Strong computer skills and ability to learn new software.
  • Good communication and customer service abilities.
  • Familiarity with automotive powertrain systems or materials is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Support execution of test procedures and collect high-quality data with specialized equipment.
  • Assist installation of test units onto stands and connect instrumentation and fluids.
  • Perform regular maintenance and part replacement for test equipment.
  • Help diagnose issues with test setups, software, or facilities and document results.
