Job summary

Napleton Nissan is seeking a Journeyman Technician for our River Oaks Honda location. The role involves diagnosing and repairing a wide range of vehicle systems and communicating findings to customers and staff.

This position emphasizes quality, efficiency, and adherence to dealer and factory standards. The ideal candidate has at least 3 years of Journeyman experience, is self-motivated, and ready to undergo required background checks.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Journeyman Technician is required.
• Self-starter with a process-driven mindset.
• Willingness to undergo a background check as per local laws.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair to specifications – brake and hydraulic, exhaust, primary and/or advanced fuel ignition and electrical, suspension and alignment, air conditioning and computer systems.
• Explain technical diagnosis and needed repairs to non-mechanical individuals as required.
• Continuously update technical skills through formal training to stay current with automotive technology.
• Keep store management aware of mechanical repair problems as they occur.
• Maintain an organized and neat service bay.
• Other duties as assigned by management.

Located at River Oaks Honda, the Journeyman Technicianisresponsible for vehicle repair and maintenance as assigned in accordance with dealer and factory standards. This position will build Customer loyalty by developing trust and ensuring confidence in Napleton through effective vehicle diagnosis and repair.

Job Responsibilities:

• Adequate explain technical diagnosis and needed repairs to non-mechanical individuals which may include employees and customers as required.

Job Requirements:
