Job summary

Brooklyn Chrysler Jeep Dodge Ram is seeking an experienced IT Manager to lead technology operations across multiple automotive dealership locations. This role oversees the DMS environment, cybersecurity, networks, and cloud services while ensuring compliance with OEM IT standards and regulatory requirements.

The IT Manager will manage vendors, budgets, and day-to-day IT operations, with regular commuting between Brooklyn, NY and Englewood Cliffs, NJ to support showroom and service drive

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional IT experience, including at least 2 years managing or supervising employees.
• Strong knowledge of networking, infrastructure, Wi-Fi, firewalls, switches, and related technologies.
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft 365 and Microsoft Azure environments.
• Solid understanding of cybersecurity fundamentals, including access management, endpoint security, patching, backups, phishing prevention, and incident response.
• Experience managing technology vendors, contracts, licensing, and third-party service providers.
• Experience developing and managing IT budgets and technology-related expenses.
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to communicate technical issues and solutions clearly to non-technical department heads, managers, and employees.
• Ability to prioritize multiple projects and technology issues across different dealership locations.
• Must have reliable transportation and the ability to regularly commute between dealership locations in Brooklyn, NY and Englewood Cliffs, NJ.

Responsibilities

• Oversee IT staff and coordinate with store-level management and technology contacts.
• Own and support the Dealer Management System (DMS) environment (Tekion etc.) and integrations.
• Manage networks, Wi-Fi, VoIP, Microsoft 365/Azure, and cloud services across locations.
• Maintain compliance with OEM IT and security standards, including audits and updates.
• Lead cybersecurity initiatives, including access controls, patch management, backups, and incident response.
• Manage IT vendors, contracts, software licensing, technology purchasing, and IT budget.
• Plan technology requirements for renovations, new store builds, expansions, and acquisitions.
• Support showroom and service drive technology including tablets, kiosks, printers, and diagnostic equipment.
• Develop disaster recovery, backup, business continuity, and system uptime plans.
