Job summary

Germain Motor Company in Columbus, OH seeks a Director of Information Technology to lead multi-state IT operations and strategy. You will manage IT teams, ensure top-tier security, and align technology initiatives with business goals across our dealership network.

Responsibilities include overseeing network, security, DMS/CRM integrations, budgeting, vendor relationships, and continuous improvement. Travel to company locations will be required.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of progressive IT experience with leadership.
• Experience leading multi-location IT operations.
• Strong knowledge of networking, cybersecurity, Microsoft 365, identity management.
• Experience managing vendors, projects, budgets, and service delivery.
• Hands-on approach with strong communication across stakeholders.
• Experience creating scalable IT processes and security standards.
• Willingness to travel periodically.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a multi-state IT team across markets.
• Ensure responsive, consistent IT support in every market.
• Oversee help desk, incidents, and escalation management.
• Set service standards and processes across locations.
• Partner with GMs and leadership to align priorities.
• Manage IT budgets, vendors, and technology investments.
• Oversee networking, security, and connectivity across sites.
• Maintain documentation of systems and access control.
• Drive cybersecurity practices and disaster recovery planning.
• Develop a long-term IT roadmap aligned with business goals.
