Morrie's Grand Ledge Ford Lincoln in Grand Ledge, MI is seeking an Accounting Assistant to manage inventory accounting and dealer trade processes. You will assign stock numbers, load into the DMS, handle MSO/titles, and support floorplan audits. The role requires general accounting knowledge and keen attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• The Accounting Assistant role will specialize in the accounting processes for all vehicle inventory and dealer trades.
• Assigns appropriate stock numbers to all incoming new and used vehicle inventory and loads them into DMS.
• Processes Dealer Trade paperwork, issues payment, and ensures receipt of payment and MSO from other dealers.
• Monitors new vehicle invoices and submits updated invoices to Controller for floorplan adjustments.
• Files invoices, MSO’s, titles.
• Assists with floorplan audits.
• Ensures compliance of state, federal and/or local laws in signing off on MSO’s and titles.
• Scanning and filing of various office documents.
• Other duties as assigned.
