Job summary

Morrie's Auto Group in Saint Louis Park, MN is seeking an Accounting Assistant to manage accounting processes for vehicle inventory and dealer trades. This full-time position requires accurate data entry and strong attention to detail.

You will assign stock numbers, process dealer trade paperwork, monitor invoices, and file MSOs and titles, while ensuring compliance with state and federal laws. Comprehensive benefits are provided.

Qualifications

• General accounting knowledge and experience.
• Dealership and titling experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Specialize in accounting processes for vehicle inventory and dealer trades.
• Assign stock numbers to incoming inventory and load into DMS.
• Process dealer trade paperwork, issue payments, and obtain MSO.
• Monitor new vehicle invoices and update floorplan invoices.
• File invoices, MSOs, and titles; assist with floorplan audits.
• Ensure compliance with state, federal and local laws on MSOs and titles.
• Scan and file office documents; other duties as assigned.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• The Accounting Assistant role will specialize in the accounting processes for all vehicle inventory and dealer trades.
• Assigns appropriate stock numbers to all incoming new and used vehicle inventory and loads them into DMS.
• Processes Dealer Trade paperwork, issues payment, and ensures receipt of payment and MSO from other dealers.
• Monitors new vehicle invoices and submits updated invoices to Controller for floorplan adjustments
• Files invoices, MSO’s, titles
• Assists with floorplan audits
• Ensures compliance of state, federal and/or local laws in signing off on MSO’s and titles
• Scanning and filing of various office documents
• Other duties as assigned
