Job summary

Haley Toyota of Richmond in Midlothian, VA, is seeking an experienced Internet Sales Consultant for a full-time role. The department handles 800–1000 leads each month with a seven-person team, and Toyota experience is highly preferred, though training is provided.

As a trusted team member, you will manage internet sales leads, set appointments, build relationships, and demonstrate vehicle benefits, including test drives. Strong communication and a professional appearance are essential.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Manage internet sales leads by responding to inquiries, setting appointments and answering questions on inventory.

Experienced Automotive Internet Sales Consultant

Full Time Sales Midlothian, VA, US

Salary Range: $41,000.00 To $95,000.00 Annually

Business is booming at Haley Toyota of Richmond, and we are looking to fill roles in our Internet Sales Department due to recent internal promotions. Toyota has projected 60% of new vehicle sales will happen in the last 5 months of the year. Business is continuing to build rapidly as inventory levels build back, and consumer demand is high!

The future of the automotive industry has forever been changed by the COVID-19 pandemic, and we are seeing a great uptick in our communications via Internet sources. This will continue to be a trend through the end of the year, and likely for a long time to come as people get used to the process of an internet sale.

This is an awesome opportunity for someone to come into a well running department that is tracking over 800-1000 good leads a month, with a staff of 7 people in our Internet Department. We are consistently tracking over 110+ cars/month in the Internet Department; on a rolling 90 day average. This is an opportunity for someone who has the right experience, to come on board and do very well.

Toyota sales experience is HIGHLY preferred, but we will train the right person (guaranteed training pay).

A successful Internet Sales Consultant effectively performs the following responsibilities:

• Manage internet sales leads, which includes responding to inquiries in a timely fashion, setting appointments, and answering questions on available new and pre-owned inventory
• Creating and building relationships with new and existing customers through proper follow-up and customer service
• Prospecting new customers through social media, networking, e-mail, and phone
• Demonstrating vehicle benefits and amenities, including test drives
• Meeting and exceeding dealership goals and sales objectives
• Clearly and professionally document all customer feedback and information into CRM software (Vinsolutions).
• Must have excellent interpersonal skills and high attention to detail with written communication (email/text)
