Job summary

Cox Automotive is seeking an Inspector Apprentice to verify vehicle information, identify issues, and document findings at the point of receipt. You will perform day-end procedures, write electronic condition reports, and stay updated on inspection techniques and software tools.

This role requires safety awareness and the ability to work overtime as needed. Ideal candidates possess a high school diploma, strong communication skills, and the capacity to multitask while following instructions.

Qualifications

• Requires high school diploma or GED.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to multitask, follow directions and take instruction.

Responsibilities

• Verify vehicle information and inspect vehicles for damage, parts, and mechanical issues.
• Prepare and complete all necessary documentation and day-end procedures.
• Write electronic condition reports (ECR) and conduct courtesy inspections.
• Maintain knowledge of system capabilities and relevant software and web apps.
• Follow safety procedures and participate in safety activities.
• May work overtime as needed.
