Job summary

Cox Automotive seeks an Inspector Apprentice to verify vehicle identification, inspect exterior/interior conditions, and document results at a Cox location in the United States. This is an individual contributor, day shift role with no remote option.

The position requires a High School Diploma or GED, 0–2 years in a related field, a valid driver's license, and the ability to stand and move around vehicles. Training and certification will be provided.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 0–2 years of related inspection experience preferred.
• Must pass Inspector Certification Exam within 90 days.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Must be able to stand, walk, bend, and kneel during inspections.

Responsibilities

• Verify vehicle identification and document results.
• Enter basic vehicle information into database.
• Inspect exterior and interior vehicle components and note condition.
• Complete data entry in support of vehicle condition reports.
• Perform post-sale inspections and enter results in database.
• Attend trainings and share information with team.
