Job summary

Prysmian Group in Paragould, AR is seeking an Inside Sales Specialist – Automotive to manage day-to-day customer needs, quotes, orders, and follow-up activities. You will be a key link between customers, Outside Sales, and internal teams to ensure inquiries are answered promptly and orders are processed accurately.

The role requires 2+ years in sales or customer service, strong MS Office skills, and a technical aptitude to understand product specifications.

Qualifications

• Associate or bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years of relevant work experience.
• Experience in sales, customer service, and/or account management.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications to support daily activities.
• Strong analytical, documentation, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong technical aptitude to understand product functionality and applications.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Thrives in a fast-paced environment with customer service focus.

Responsibilities

• Support sale of products by partnering with Outside Sales and/or Agents.
• Manage a minimum of 50 customer requests daily via multiple channels.
• Provide pricing and product availability in a timely fashion.
• Make pricing decisions after training based on guidelines and feedback.
• Process orders and acknowledge according to guidelines.
• Handle customer returns and claims and initiate corrective actions.
• Coordinate with Shipping, Scheduling, Quality, Manufacturing, Finance, Engineering, and Product Management.
• Review customer specs and terms with Engineering/Marketing support.
