The role involves developing labor standards, performing time studies, line balancing, and cost-saving project proposals within a dynamic automotive environment. A degree in engineering and 3+ years in manufacturing engineering are required.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering.
• 3+ years of industrial engineering in a manufacturing plant.
• Experience in automotive manufacturing is a plus.
• MODAPTS Certification
• GSPAS knowledge
• AutoCAD knowledge
• Lean Manufacturing experience
• Six Sigma Green Belt certification
• Previous production supervision

Aufgaben

• Drive development and installation of labor standards and methods. Track labor, manpower utilization and line balancing.
• Conduct Job Ergonomics evaluations.
• Analyze problem process constraints and conduct equipment cycle time analysis.
• Develop cycle line layouts for current and future models using ACAD; lead job methodization and process allocations.
• Coordinate engineering changes and planning; conduct value stream mapping and process audits.
• Interface with Production Supervision and the UAW to settle job disputes.
