Job summary

Ford Motor Company seeks an Manufacturing Process Engineer to support labor standards, time studies, and continuous process improvements in our production environment.

You will utilize ACAD and MODAPTS for layout and method development, analyze cycle times, and drive efficiency while ensuring safety. Collaboration with Production Supervisors and the UAW is essential to optimize manpower and methods.

Qualifications

• 3+ Years of experience in industrial engineering in a manufacturing plant environment.
• Lean Manufacturing experience and Six Sigma Green Belt are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Drive development and/or installation of labor standards and methods.
• Conduct ergonomics evaluations.
• Analyze cycle times and plant methods to improve productivity.
• Coordinate changes and planning with supervision and unions to resolve issues.
• Develop cost-saving project proposals and write project documentation.
