Job summary

Ford Motor Company seeks an Engineering Section Supervisor to lead engineers and technicians within manufacturing, driving disciplined process control and continuous improvement. You will partner with Quality, Maintenance, Skilled Trades, and other engineering groups to remove barriers and build engineering capability.

Responsibilities include leading process and equipment validation, quality system adherence, change control, and structured problem solving using Lean Six Sigma tools.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering required.
• Broad technical and engineering experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Working knowledge of engineering change management (MTC, CCR, DCP) and process validation.
• Strong presentation and communication skills with leadership experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and develop engineers and technicians in process, equipment, and systems performance.
• Drive Process Adherence to standards and close gaps between design and actual performance.
• Own Quality Operating System (QOS) adherence and action on corrective actions.
• Manage MTC/CCR/DCP processes for disciplined, validated changes.
• Lead Deviation Control Plan (DCP) management and risk-based countermeasures.
• Apply project management to plan, execute, and deliver engineering projects on time and budget.
• Lead process and equipment validation to meet safety and quality requirements.
