Job summary

ASTEMO AMERICAS, INC. is seeking a Hardware Engineer to support design and development of transfer case, suspension, and BMS ECUs across the product lifecycle.

You will collaborate with mechanical, systems, production, and software teams to create concepts and drive hardware requirements through production, ensuring quality and reliability. Strong knowledge of automotive 12V systems, power electronics, and instrumented testing is required.

Qualifications

• BS Electrical Engineering preferred or equivalent industry experience.
• 2 years automotive ECU design experience preferred.
• 1+ years driveline/suspension/BMS design exposure.

Responsibilities

• Support electrical design by creating an electrical concept or modifying existing designs.
• Collaborate with mechanical, system, production and software teams to propose designs.
• Engage with suppliers to evaluate cost-optimized solutions.
• Support hardware design from concept through production ensuring automotive quality.
