Job summary

ASTEMO AMERICAS, INC. is seeking an automotive EE HW Engineer to design, develop and validate ECUs in a fast-paced design group. You will contribute to analog and digital hardware, EMC mitigation, and robust test methods across global projects.

The role requires 3–5 years of hands-on ECU experience, proficiency with Altium and LTSpice, and natLabVIEW. Some travel and collaboration with manufacturing are expected.

Qualifications

• BS Electrical Engineering or MS with focus on power electronics and circuits.
• 3–5 years hands-on experience in automotive ECU design and development.
• Experience designing, developing, and validating automotive ECUs.

Responsibilities

• Analyze system requirements and customer needs.
• Interface with a multi-disciplinary team to discuss projects with customers and vendors.
• Modify hardware designs or create new hardware to meet performance requirements.
• Prepare block diagrams and detailed schematics; manage PCB layout.
• Perform analysis, simulation, and verification of analog and digital hardware and firmware.
• Develop and manage test specifications and execution.
• Support manufacturing to release hardware designs.
• Explain technical findings and recommendations to customers.
