Job summary

ASTEMO AMERICAS, INC. is seeking a senior engineer to design, plan, test, and coordinate multiple product development processes for automotive electronic suspension systems. You will coordinate development with OEM customers, translate requirements into actions, and manage QCD timing as a system engineer.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in automotive launches, knowledge of CAD/CAE tools, and are capable of remote work from home. Some international travel is expected.

Qualifications

Bachelor degree in Mechanical, Electrical or equivalent engineering field.
Minimum 5 years experience in automotive or related field with launch experience.
Capability in spoken and written Japanese is a benefit.

Responsibilities

Coordinate product development activity between OEM customers and internal departments.
Translate customer requirements into internal actions.
Lead program QCD timing as system engineer.
Interface with OEM customers on product issues and warranty data.
Review warranty data and drive actions to improve quality.
Support CAD/CAE activities to meet customer requirements.
Travel domestically and internationally as needed.
Lead cross-functional global teams and communicate effectively.
