Job summary

Pep Boys, now part of the Mavis Tire family, seeks full-time General Service Technicians to support our Gretna, LA centers. You'll perform essential tire services and routine maintenance as part of a team that keeps customers safely on the road.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Legally authorized to work in the United States.
• Reliable, punctual and eager to learn.
• Able to work in a fast-paced automotive setting.
• Strong commitment to safety, teamwork and quality service.

Responsibilities

• Dismounting, mounting, rotating, and balancing tires.
• Performing flat tire repairs.
• Completing oil and filter changes.
• Checking and topping off vehicle fluids.
• Performing basic vehicle maintenance and inspections.
• Identifying visible tire and maintenance concerns.
• Maintaining a clean, safe, and organized work area.
• Following established safety and service procedures.
• Helping ensure quality service and timely completion of customer vehicles.
