Job summary

Pep Boys, now part of the Mavis Tire family, is seeking full-time General Service Technicians to join Team Mavis in the Houston, TX area. We offer paid training, competitive weekly pay, and opportunities to advance within the nation’s largest automotive service organization.

As a General Service Technician, you’ll perform tire services, basic maintenance, and inspections while developing hands-on skills in a fast-paced environment. Previous automotive experience is a plus but not required.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years old and legally eligible to work in the United States.
• Reliable, punctual and willing to learn in a fast-paced automotive environment.
• Commitment to safety, teamwork and quality service.

Responsibilities

• Dismounting, mounting, rotating, and balancing tires.
• Performing oil and filter changes and fluid checks.
• Identifying maintenance concerns and ensuring safe, quality service.
• Maintaining a clean, safe, and organized work area.
• Adhering to safety and service procedures and timelines.
