Job summary

Pep Boys is now part of the Mavis Tire family and we’re growing our team. We are hiring full-time General Service Technicians to join Team Mavis at our automotive service, repair, and tire sales centers in the Stennis Space Center, MS area.

As a General Service Technician, you’ll perform essential maintenance and tire services, working with experienced automotive professionals while developing valuable hands-on skills.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
• Reliable, punctual, and willing to learn.
• Comfortable in a fast-paced automotive environment.
• Strong commitment to safety, teamwork and quality service.

Responsibilities

• Dismounting, mounting, rotating, balancing tires
• Performing flat tire repairs
• Oil and filter changes
• Checking and topping off vehicle fluids
• Basic vehicle maintenance and inspections
• Identifying tire and maintenance concerns
• Maintaining a clean, safe, and organized work area
• Following safety and service procedures
• Assist in ensuring quality service and timely completion of vehicles
