Job summary

Pep Boys, now part of the Mavis Tire family, is hiring full-time General Service Technicians to join our automotive service centers in the Clawson, MI area.

You will perform essential tire and maintenance tasks, with paid training and opportunities for career growth. Weekly pay plus incentive compensation and a new hire bonus of $800 are offered.

Experience is not required, training provided; strong safety and teamwork focus.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age.
• Be legally authorized to work in the United States.
• Be reliable, punctual, and willing to learn.
• Be comfortable working in a fast-paced, hands-on automotive environment.
• Have a strong commitment to safety, teamwork, and quality service.

Responsibilities

• Dismounting, mounting, rotating, and balancing tires.
• Performing flat tire repairs.
• Completing oil and filter changes.
• Checking and topping off vehicle fluids.
• Performing basic vehicle maintenance and inspections.
• Identifying visible tire and maintenance concerns.
• Maintaining a clean, safe, and organized work area.
• Following established safety and service procedures.
• Helping ensure quality service and timely completion of customer vehicles.
