Job summary

Pep Boys is hiring full-time General Service Technicians to join Team Mavis at our Noblesville, IN centers. We offer paid training, competitive weekly pay, and a weekly incentive program in a fast-paced automotive environment.

You'll work alongside experienced professionals performing tire services, oil changes, fluid checks, and basic maintenance while prioritizing safety and customer satisfaction. Growth opportunities exist within a large, nationwide service network.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age.
• Be legally authorized to work in the United States.
• Be reliable, punctual, and willing to learn.
• Be comfortable working in a fast-paced, hands-on automotive environment.
• Have a strong commitment to safety, teamwork, and quality service.
• Previous automotive experience is a plus, but not required. Paid training is provided.

Responsibilities

• Dismounting, mounting, rotating, and balancing tires
• Performing flat tire repairs
• Completing oil and filter changes
• Checking and topping off vehicle fluids
• Performing basic vehicle maintenance and inspections
• Identifying visible tire and maintenance concerns
• Maintaining a clean, safe, and organized work area
• Following established safety and service procedures
• Helping ensure quality service and timely completion of customer vehicles
• General Service Technicians must be able to stand, walk, bend, kneel, stoop, crouch, pull, reach, and perform repetitive movements associated with automotive and tire service
• Technicians must also be able to regularly lift and/or move items weighing more than 50 pounds.
