Pep Boys is now part of the Mavis Tire family and is hiring full-time General Service Technicians to join Team Mavis in the Southaven, MS area. We offer paid training, competitive weekly pay, and opportunities to advance within the company.

As a General Service Technician, you will perform essential maintenance and tire services, work alongside experienced automotive professionals, and develop hands-on skills in a large nationwide service organization with over 4,000 locations.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years old.
• Authorized to work in the United States.
• Reliable, punctual, and willing to learn.
• Comfortable in a fast-paced automotive environment.
• Strong commitment to safety, teamwork, and quality service.
• Prior automotive experience is a plus, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Dismounting, mounting, rotating, and balancing tires.
• Performing oil and filter changes
• Checking and topping off vehicle fluids
• Performing basic vehicle maintenance and inspections
• Identifying visible tire and maintenance concerns
• Maintaining a clean, safe, and organized work area
• Following established safety and service procedures
• Helping ensure quality service and timely completion of customer vehicles
