Job summary

Pep Boys, now part of the Mavis Tire family, is hiring full-time General Service Technicians for centers in the Hiram, GA area. We offer paid training, competitive weekly pay, and opportunities to grow within the country’s largest automotive service organization.

Responsibilities include tire mounting/dismounting, oil changes, fluid checks, and basic maintenance. Prior automotive experience is a plus but not required. Equal opportunity employer.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Authorized to work in the United States.
• Reliable, punctual, and eager to learn.
• Willing to thrive in a fast-paced automotive environment.
• Paid training provided.

Responsibilities

• Dismounting, mounting, balancing tires.
• Performing flat tire repairs.
• Carrying out oil and filter changes.
• Checking and topping off vehicle fluids.
• Performing basic vehicle maintenance and inspections.
• Identifying tire and maintenance concerns.
• Maintaining a clean, safe work area.
• Following safety and service procedures.
• Ensuring timely completion of customer vehicles.
