Job summary

Advance Auto Parts is seeking a General Manager to inspire the team, drive store sales and service objectives, and grow professional customer relationships. The role requires knowledge of store and automotive systems, and the ability to manage DIY and professional services.

The position is exempt and typically involves 50–55 hours per week, including nights and weekends, with rotating shifts. Responsibilities include coaching team members, maintaining inventory and safety standards, and leading

Qualifications

• 2-3 years of experience managing a team of 10-20 in a fast-paced retail environment.
• Strong profitability management and business acumen.
• Bachelor’s degree in business or related area preferred.
• Must have a valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Achieve overall store sales goals and service objectives.
• Manage and grow Professional Customer relationships/sales, including team accountability.
• Hire, develop, coach, schedule and engage store Team Members.
• Inventory and operational standards execution.
• Provide DIY services such as battery and wiper installations.
• Manager on Duty responsibilities: coaching, safety, floor/phone management.
