Talent Acquisition Manager - Caliber Collision and Family of Brands

A Protech General Manager will provide support, coaching, and leadership to mobile automotive repair technicians within the Market. This position is responsible for operational & financial performance, market growth, and delivering world-class customer service.

Job Summary

To direct and lead Protech operations of the assigned Area by establishing and maintaining company goals and standards for performance, growth, and customer service through activities and services that support and measure the success of the overall region.

Responsibilities:
  • Use OE diagnostic scan tools for diagnostics, trimming, and mechanical work on all vehicle makes and models.
  • Manage Protech field resources within the designated Area, including mobile technicians, calibration technicians, and apprentices, supporting field efforts such as scanning.
  • Oversee financial aspects of the Operations business within the Area.
  • Recruit, backfill, train, and lead the team.
  • Understand the needs of the Area, monitor market performance, and respond to support requests.
  • Identify and resolve performance issues related to scanning, mobile, and calibration services in the Area.
  • Review and approve weekly reports to ensure accurate and timely time entries, payroll, and expenses.
  • Handle billing concerns and questions, managing financial operations for the Area.
  • Conduct team engagement and performance evaluations.
  • Ensure quality control for field operations.
  • Manage tooling, updates, safety, and inventory, including laptops and other equipment.
  • Provide ongoing training to keep the team updated on new procedures and technologies.
  • Build and maintain client relationships.
Requirements:
  • 10+ years of automotive OE, mechanical, diagnostic experience.
  • 2+ years of management experience.
  • Must be 18 years or older.
  • Must have a valid driver’s license and pass an MVR check.
Physical Demands
  • Ability to lift 60 pounds independently.
  • Stand for extended periods with frequent stretching, reaching, walking, and stooping.
  • Frequent driving of company and customer vehicles.
  • Extensive travel within the designated area.
