Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Automotive Floorplan Portfolio Manager to build and manage a portfolio of automotive dealerships. Responsibilities include signing dealerships, driving sales, servicing accounts, and managing risks. The ideal candidate will have industry knowledge and a proven client relationship track record.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Sales Management:
    • Develop and implement sales strategies to acquire and retain dealer clients.
    • Build relationships with dealership owners and decision-makers.
    • Identify growth opportunities and promote Westlake's offerings.
    • Conduct market research to stay competitive.
  2. Servicing:
    • Oversee portfolio servicing, ensuring customer satisfaction.
    • Monitor account performance and address issues.
    • Collaborate with teams to streamline processes.
    • Support dealerships with financing solutions.
  3. Risk Management:
    • Monitor dealership performance and conditions.
    • Develop risk assessment models.
    • Ensure compliance with policies and regulations.
    • Track portfolio performance metrics.
Qualities & Requirements
  • Bilingual (English, Spanish)
  • Knowledge of the automotive industry
  • Financial acumen and familiarity with financial tools

  • Proficiency in MS Office and Teams
  • BA/BS and 3+ years related experience or equivalent
  • 2+ years in finance, sales, or account management
  • Travel required (>25%)
  • Valid driver’s license required
Compensation & Benefits
  • Base pay of $50,000/year
  • Guaranteed monthly bonus ($2,000 for 4 months, then decreasing)
  • Vehicle mileage reimbursement (~$450/month)
  • Average earnings after 1 year: $114,764; top performers: $126,380
  • Performance-based pay with no commission cap
