Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Automotive Floorplan Portfolio Manager to build and manage a portfolio of automotive dealerships. Responsibilities include signing dealerships, driving sales, ensuring excellent account servicing, and managing associated risks. The ideal candidate will have a comprehensive understanding of the automotive industry and a proven track record of building and maintaining client relationships.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Sales Management:
    • Develop and implement sales strategies to acquire and retain dealer clients within the automotive sector.
    • Build and maintain relationships with dealership owners and key decision-makers to understand their financing needs.
    • Identify opportunities for portfolio growth by presenting financing solutions and promoting Westlake Flooring Company’s offerings.
    • Conduct market research to stay competitive and align services with industry trends.
  2. Servicing:
    • Oversee the servicing of the automotive floorplan portfolio, ensuring high customer satisfaction.
    • Monitor account performance and proactively address issues or concerns raised by clients.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline processes and enhance customer experience.
    • Provide training and support to dealerships on financing solutions and services.
  3. Risk Management:
    • Monitor dealership conditions and performance.
    • Develop and maintain risk assessment models to evaluate dealership creditworthiness.
    • Ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
    • Monitor portfolio performance, including loan balances, dealer performance, and payment trends.
Qualities and Qualifications
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish
  • Knowledge of the automotive industry across various sectors
  • Strong financial acumen and familiarity with financial tools and terminology
  • Excellent presentation, verbal, and written communication skills
  • Interpersonal skills for interacting with clients and internal teams
  • Effective time management and ability to meet deadlines
  • Negotiation and collection skills
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and remotely
  • Proficiency in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Teams
  • BA/BS degree in a related field and 3 years of relevant experience, or equivalent
  • Minimum of 2 years experience in finance, sales, account management, or collections
  • Willingness to travel >25%, including overnight stays
  • Valid driver’s license and ability to travel, fly, or drive as needed
  • Ability to sit and stand for extended periods
