Job summary

Paragon Honda is seeking an Experienced Automotive Finance Assistant to support the Finance and Sales Managers with administrative duties, document flow, and office operations in our New York area dealership.

This role handles banking packages, lienholder information, deal accuracy, logs, deposits, phone coverage, scheduling, and basic bookkeeping, while upholding high ethical standards and professional appearance.

Qualifications

• Minimum of one year administrative/clerical experience.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, Power Point).
• Strong organizational & follow up skills.
• Ability to coordinate activities and read/comprehend instructions in English.
• Strong work ethic with commitment to high energy performance, quality and service excellence.

Responsibilities

• Ensures correct flow of documents from the Finance department to business office.
• Packages documents to be sent to banks, ensuring lienholder information is correct.
• Reviews vehicle deals for accuracy and missing documents.
• Maintains sold log for the department and logs Reports of Sales into DMV Desk.
• Verify and process daily deposits.
• Answers phones and takes messages for routine and non-routine questions.
• Provides back up support for finance managers staff in areas of faxing documents, locating vehicles, setting up appointments with guests or vendors.
• Assists in resolving funding delays and collecting stipulations.
• Performs general office duties such as ordering supplies, maintaining records, and basic bookkeeping.
