Job summary

Ford is seeking a Field Service Engineer to serve Ford and Lincoln dealerships in the LA area. You will diagnose complex vehicle concerns, improve dealership service processes, and ensure customers have an exceptional ownership experience.

This role requires travel to multiple dealerships weekly and strong collaboration with dealership leadership. The ideal candidate has 2+ years of dealership diagnosis/repair experience, proficient Microsoft 365 skills, and a valid driver's license.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required in a relevant field.
• 2+ years of automotive dealership diagnosis and repair experience.
• 2+ years of experience using Microsoft 365 (Outlook/Teams/Word/Excel/PowerPoint).
• Valid, unrestricted driver’s license and ability to operate manual transmission vehicles.
• Willingness to travel with overnight stays weekly.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair vehicles at Ford/Lincoln dealerships.
• Improve service processes and guide dealership technicians.
• Provide in-dealership repair support and escalate technical hotline cases.
• Lead diagnosis and repair strategy for difficult vehicles to resolution.
• Offer diagnostic guidance and coaching to dealership staff.
