Job summary

Southpoint Honda is hiring Express/Maintenance Technicians to join a high-volume service team. The role offers a starting pay of $17/hour and can go up to $23/hour, plus bonuses. A 4-day work week is available for Express/Maintenance Technicians, with hands-on training as part of a defined career pathway.

Qualifications

• Prior Express/Maintenance experience preferred.
• Manufacturer experience preferred.
• Customer-focused, self-motivated and coachable.

Responsibilities

• Technicians perform work specified on the repair order with efficiency and in accordance with quality and dealership standards.
• Test-drive vehicles and test components and systems using diagnostic tools and equipment.
• Diagnose, maintain, and repair vehicle systems including engine, transmission, electrical, steering, suspension, brakes, and A/C.
• Communicate with the Service Advisor about needed additional work and time estimates.
• Execute repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications and coordinate with parts department for needed parts.

What are the responsibilities for an Automotive Technician with Hudson Automotive?

• - Technicians perform work specified on the repair order with efficiency and in accordance with quality and dealership standards.
• - Test-drive vehicles, and test components and systems, using diagnostic tools and special service equipment.
• - Diagnose, maintain, and repair vehicle automotive systems including engine, transmission, electrical steering, suspension, brakes, air conditioning, etc.
• - Communicate directly with the Service Advisor so that customers are informed if any additional service is needed. Provide an estimate of time needed for additional repairs.
• - Execute repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications and communicate with the parts department to obtain needed parts.
