Job summary

Experis is seeking an Automotive Emissions Test Engineer in Auburn Hills, MI, onsite. You will support the Emissions and Aftertreatment department, evaluating aftertreatment systems and driving regulatory compliance.

The role involves developing integrated technologies, using dynamometers and modeling tools, and collaborating with global teams to optimize emissions and engine performance. A strong engineering background and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Automotive, Chemical, Mechanical, or Electrical/Computer Engineering from an ABET-accredited university.
• 2+ years of experience in systems-level engineering with hardware, controls, or calibration development.
• Experience with emissions testing, engine hardware, and virtual analysis tools such as GT-Power, AVL Boost, or similar.
• Knowledge of combustion processes, engine hardware, OBD systems, and electrified propulsion systems.
• Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently and in teams.
