Job summary
NVIDIA seeks an EMC Engineer to drive regulatory compliance design, validation, and lab testing of automotive ECUs and robotic platforms. You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams from concept through production to deliver compliant, high-performance hardware.
You will implement EMI mitigation, plan radiated and conducted tests, and lead debugging of emissions issues. Requirements include a EE degree and 4+ years in automotive EMC, with CAN, LIN, automotive Ethernet, and USB familiarity.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
- 4+ years in automotive electronic design and EMC validation.
- Strong knowledge of CAN, LIN, automotive Ethernet, and USB.
- Familiar with CISPR 25, CISPR 12, SAE J551; ISO 11452, ISO 7637, SAE J111.
- Experience with PCBA modifications, wiring harness, and lab instruments.
- Experience with robotics/industrial automation is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Implement system-level EMI mitigation and define schematic/board requirements.
- Collaborate with PCB layout and mechanical teams on EMI/board design.
- Plan and conduct radiated/conducted emissions tests per standards.
- Lead debugging of complex emissions and immunity failures.
- Provide cross-functional support to customers for field integration.
- Generate test plans, compliance matrices, reports, and certifications.
