Job summary

General Motors is seeking a Senior Software Engineer, Embedded Software, to lead the development of low voltage power management subsystems and ART solutions. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electronic/Software/Electrical Engineering or related field with 5 years of senior software/embedded experience.
• OR Master's degree with 3 years of senior experience in similar roles.
• Three years automotive engineering experience including embedded controls, requirements development, architecture development, and systems engineering.
• Two years defining and troubleshooting hardware–embedded controls interactions; developing system/subsystem requirements.
• One year design experience with automotive low voltage electric power components, controls, subsystems, and architecture.

Responsibilities

• Lead functional breakdown and requirements development for power management subsystems.
• Create and maintain SSTS and BTS specs using BDD methodologies.
• Direct subsystem design with holistic solutions across vehicle architectures.
• Coordinate with systems and hardware teams to align interfaces and performance.
• Lead triad meetings to develop solution requirements and test cases.
• Support Scrum team in decomposing and understanding requirements.
