Job summary

General Motors is seeking a Senior Software Integration Manager to own software integration, release execution, and launch readiness for assigned controllers. This role aligns software, calibration, hardware, validation, and suppliers to manage plans, risks, and decisions, ensuring high-quality software delivered on schedule.

The ideal candidate has deep embedded software and real-time systems experience, strong leadership without direct authority, and the ability to translate complex program

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer/Electrical/Systems/Software Engineering or related field.
• 5+ years in embedded software, controls, systems integration, or related development.
• Experience leading complex cross-functional workstreams in product development.

Responsibilities

• Lead software integration planning and execution for controllers and software releases.
• Develop and communicate integrated software delivery plans across GM teams and partners.
• Coordinate cross-functional alignment among software, calibration, validation, hardware, and system teams.
• Drive software execution forums, track progress, resolve blockers, and ensure on-time delivery.
• Lead software verification/validation planning and align with program milestones.
