Job summary

FBSPL is seeking a Hardware Design Engineer to join its automotive hardware team. The role focuses on design, development, analysis, and validation of electronic hardware for ECUs, with emphasis on RF/wireless, PCB development, and EMC.

The engineer will collaborate with global teams, perform worst‑case analyses, and support hardware/software integration for vehicle access and security systems. 3+ years in automotive hardware is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering and 3+ years of automotive hardware design experience.
• Experience designing automotive ECUs or electronic modules.
• Strong circuit design, schematics, PCB layout, and EMC/EMI knowledge.
• RF/wireless tech and antenna development preferred.
• Experience with CAN, LIN, K-Line, or ISO9141.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop automotive ECU hardware, including schematics and circuit designs.
• Work with microcontrollers, regulator ICs, drivers, CAN/LIN interfaces.
• Support RF/wireless hardware, including Bluetooth/BLE, NFC, and UWB.
• Perform RF link-budget, receiver sensitivity, and transmit-power analyses.
• Collaborate with PCB layout on grounding, shielding, and signal integrity.
• Conduct EMC/EMI testing, troubleshooting, and design improvements.
• Develop and maintain DFMEA, DVPR, EMC plans and docs.
• Support hardware/software integration with OEM customers.
