Job summary

Mobis North America seeks a Hardware Engineer specializing in automotive electronics and PCB design. You will translate OEM requirements into hardware solutions, lead cross‑functional coordination, and support vehicle‑level validation from concept through production.

Qualifications include an engineering degree and 5+ years in automotive electronics; familiarity with CAN, I2C, SPI, USB, Ethernet is essential. Hybrid work with onsite manufacturing is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent preferred.
• Approximately 5+ years of experience in electronic product design or automotive PCB/circuit design.

Responsibilities

• Understand design and manufacturing of electronic control modules and components.
• Experience with vehicle electrical connectors, housings, and insulators.
• Understand protocols including I2C, SPI, CAN, RS232, USB, and Ethernet.
• Perform field failure analysis and solution evaluation for production product issues.
• Work with CAD interfaces (Zuken, Mentor Graphics, or others).
• Perform PCB/circuit design including digital/analog, LVDS, and power management.
• Translate requirements into hardware designs and manage schedules/milestones.
• Coordinate with MOBIS HQ and OEMs from concept to final design.
