Job summary

Brembo is seeking a senior Embedded Software Engineer in the United States to define software specifications for automotive mechatronic systems and develop C code with AUTOSAR stack configuration. You will debug in SIL/HIL and on-vehicle, manage Git repositories and Jira tickets, and ensure compliance with A-SPICE processes.

Ideal candidates have a degree in EE/automation/CS, strong English, and extensive experience in automotive or related industries, including diagnostics and network

Qualifications

• Degree in electrical/automation/ computer science.
• Excellent level of English.
• Senior profile with automotive, aerospace, railway, home appliances, IoT or industrial automation experience.
• Embedded software development with microcontrollers and lab equipment.
• Experience with AUTOSAR architecture.
• Version control, issue tracking and requirements management knowledge.
• Scripting languages welcomed, preferably Python.
• BLDC motors knowledge preferred.
• UML documentation techniques preferred.

Responsibilities

• Define software specifications to meet system and customer requirements.
• Develop basic software for automotive mechatronic systems, including AUTOSAR stack configuration and C coding for network communication and diagnostics.
• Debug software in SIL/HIL environments or on the bench and in-vehicle.
• Manage software repository (Git) and ticketing (Jira) for synchronization and builds.
• Guarantee bug/CHANGE REQUEST filing, analysis and resolution.
• Ensure software development follows corporate processes (A-SPICE).
