Sun Auto Tire & Service is seeking a District Manager to lead 8–10 automotive service locations in the Phoenix market. You will provide strategic direction, coach Store Managers, and drive profitability while maintaining a high standard of customer satisfaction.

The role requires 5+ years of multi‑unit automotive leadership, strong P&L oversight, and a track record of sales and performance improvement. Travel across the territory and a Monday–Friday schedule with additional flexibility as needed.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of multi‑unit management experience within automotive aftermarket, retail automotive service, or a related service‑driven industry.
• Demonstrated success leading multiple locations while consistently achieving sales, profit, and operational objectives.
• Strong understanding of automotive service operations, customer experience management, and retail business fundamentals.
• Proven ability to coach, mentor, and develop leaders and teams to achieve high performance.
• Experience managing P&L performance, budgeting, labor controls, and operational metrics.
• Effective business planning, execution, and strategy implementation skills.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities with the capability to make data‑driven decisions.
• Outstanding communication, relationship‑building, and conflict‑resolution skills.
• Ability to adapt quickly to changing business needs and lead teams through change effectively.
• Track record of successfully achieving monthly, quarterly, and annual business objectives.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and develop Store Managers and leadership teams to achieve operational and financial excellence.
• Drive sales growth, profitability, and customer satisfaction across all assigned locations.
• Monitor KPIs and implement action plans to improve business performance.
• Ensure consistent execution of company initiatives, operating procedures, and service standards.
• Recruit, develop, and retain top talent while fostering a positive and performance‑driven culture.
• Conduct regular store visits to evaluate operations, customer experience, employee engagement, and safety compliance.
• Partner with Store Managers to establish goals, create development plans, and drive accountability for results.
• Analyze financial and operational data to identify opportunities for revenue growth and expense control.
• Oversee inventory management, labor optimization, and productivity initiatives to maximize profitability.
• Address performance challenges proactively through coaching, training, and corrective action when necessary.
• Resolve escalated customer concerns while promoting a best‑in‑class customer experience.
• Ensure compliance with all company policies, safety standards, and federal, state, and local regulations.
• Support business development initiatives and identify opportunities to grow market share within the region.
