Job summary

Lucid Motors USA, Inc. is seeking an experienced diagnostics engineer to collaborate with cross-functional teams on design, prototyping, validation, and production of service tools for vehicle systems. You will work with vendors to convert prototypes into production solutions and develop diagnostic workflows with fault trees.

You will independently perform testing, root-cause analysis, and validation in a fast-paced environment, with travel as needed to support testing and validation activities.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of Automotive Experience in diagnostics, troubleshooting, validation, or systems engineering.
• Ability to translate service needs into practical tooling solutions for field and production environments.
• Experience with vehicle networks (CAN, LIN, Automotive Ethernet) and diagnostic protocols.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Cross-Engineering to design, prototype, validate, and produce service tools.
• Work with vendors to turn prototypes into production tools for the Service environment.
• Develop, maintain, and improve diagnostic workflows and fault trees for vehicle systems.
